This paper examines the importance of selecting the proper sampling rate to account for various UV source parameters (for example the design of the LED array, the modulation scheme used to control the array’s intensity, and tnsity, and the optics, if any, used to disperse the LED’s output). Proper sample rate also depends on process parameters such as production line speed, or location of the UV LED array. This presentation will provide practical guidance for the proper use of sampling rates by drawing on real-world examples for end-users, formulators, and equipment suppliers who need repeatable, accurate UV process control.
